The Southmoor Elementary Annual Auction + Party is set for Saturday, April 25. This adults-only evening event provides an opportunity for parents to socialize while they support our school. All money raised goes towards funding staffing needs in the school, enriching students' experiences, school events and teacher appreciation activities. We promise you won’t want to miss it!

Donations
We’re actively seeking donations! Can you donate or are you able to ask your favorite local businesses for donations? We have a list of popular items to get you thinking. Please click on the link below to complete the donation form. All contributions will be gratefully acknowledged on our online auction site. Arrangements can be made to pick-up your donation or you can drop off or mail it to the school. Your participation in and contribution to making this event a success is greatly appreciated. We request that all donations are received by March 24, 2026 to be listed on our auction site.

Host/co-host a buy-in Party
Each year, a variety of buy-in parties are offered at the Southmoor Auction. These events help to build our community while raising funds for our school. The events are donated by members of our Southmoor community for a pre-determined number of people to attend. People purchase tickets to these parties through Southmoor’s online auction for a fixed, per-person price. 100% of the funds raised go to Southmoor.

The Southmoor Annual Auction is a fun, adults-only evening with good friends, good food, and opportunities to bid on wide variety of donated items in all price ranges. The evening will include the following:
• Online Auction: Opens about a week before the event. You may continue bidding on items until the Online Auction closes at 8pm on April 25th, at which point the highest bid wins!
• Live Auction: An exciting, fun and fast-paced auction for big ticket items led by a professional auctioneer. Raise your paddle to bid on fabulous items!!
• Great food, drinks, desserts and mingling.

Auction programs will be available at the event. A wide variety of items are donated to ensure that there is something for everyone. Items range from professional services, restaurant gift cards, classes, and merchandise to experiences, group parties /dinners, vacation properties, and sporting events, just to name a few.

We encourage parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles, friends, neighbors and in particular, incoming Southmoor families to attend - so spread the word!! The auction is an adult only event

How much money you spend is entirely up to you. There will be items in all price ranges, from small, face-value gift certificates, parties you can sign up to attend, a variety goods and services, all the way up to trips, sporting events and more!

The online auction will start March 16th, and remain open until 8pm on April 25th. Registration information will be provided at a later date. By offering the auction online, those that are not able to attend the live auction still have the opportunity to support the school by bidding for items online. The site will run similar to other online bidding sites.
After completing a registration, you can bid on as many items as you’d like. You’ll instantly know the current bid amount and who is winning the item. You’ll receive email updates if you are outbid on any of your items. Send the link to family and friends outside our community too! Winning bidders will need to pick up their items at the school.

Down & Derby (think spring dresses, bold florals, pastel suits, seersucker, and big hats). But feel free to wear what is comfortable for you. Many people like to dress up for this fun night out, while others keep it casual.
